About Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust
The Foundation Trust's services include a full range of specialist adult and older people's services, psychology and therapy agencies as well as specialist learning disability services.
The Trust's vision is to improve mental health and wellbeing in Sheffield. We aspire to provide high quality services that have a positive impact on the lives of SHSC service users and their families
The Trust is a partner of Sheffield First for Health and aims towards improving the health of all citizens in Sheffield. Particular emphasis is given to reducing health inequalities. We are conscious of the Trust's role as an employer and the impact this has on regeneration in Sheffield, particularly in disadvantaged areas.
The Trust has been a three star organisation for the last two years. We are one of seven Care Trusts providing integrated health and social care in partnership with the Local Authority. The Trust is one of only two Care Trusts in the North of England.
Our Plans for this Year
Our plans and priorities for this year are outlined in our Annual Plan for 2009/10. The Plan was formally approved by the Trust's Board of Directors at the end of May. The Plan provides a high level summary of:
