SHSC would like to thank those of you who commented during the public consultation on the CMHT Reconfiguration. A copy of the paper that went to our Board of Directors in October is below, showing the amendments that have been made to the proposed new CMHT model as a result of the consultation, as well as an appendix with a themed summary of all the comments made along with our considered responses.
CMHT Trust Board Report (310KB)
The Trust’s Board of Directors has given us approval to move ahead with the reconfiguration of CMHTs. We are now working to begin a period of formal consultation with staff in January 2012. This will last for at least 3 months and will then be followed by a phased implementation of the changes. Continuity of existing care arrangements and safe management will be our priority throughout the planned service change.

Day Hospitals & DART Consultation (pdf 139KB)
NHS Sheffield has decided that Birch Avenue and Woodland View care homes will be recommissioned following a four month consultation. The two homes provide long term care for people with dementia.
